Mediterranean Restaurant Design

The interior architecture of this venue unfolds through a fluid succession of three spaces, united by a strong Mediterranean character. The design concept is based on a continuous dialogue between the authentic feel of rustic materials and the rigorous elegance of contemporary finishes, creating an immersive experience for the guest.

The journey begins in the main dining room, a grand space flooded with natural light thanks to an imposing central pavilion skylight. The space, floored with light-colored wood, is delineated by pillars with grey textured finishes and elegant partition walls embellished with polychrome tiles and golden medallions. These elements frame the pristine white tables and grey seating, while the exposed stone rear walls, enriched by large classical paintings, lend depth and historical character to the composition.

Moving towards the heart of the venue, the ceiling heights reduce proportionally to offer a more intimate atmosphere. The ceiling transforms into a suggestive wooden beam structure painted white, hosting a mixed lighting system (recessed and with characteristic spherical pendants) that warms the entire dining area. This second space is made even more welcoming by the presence of a large, dramatic fireplace with an artistic mosaic and a bar counter that echoes the pattern of the decorative tiles in the first room.

The experience culminates in a characteristic wine cellar. Separated from the rest of the restaurant by a wide double-glazed door that ensures visual continuity throughout the project, the room is dominated by the warm hues of natural wood. The cladding envelops the joisted ceiling with dense beams and shapes the tall perimeter shelving filled with bottles, forming a majestic backdrop for a solid wood tasting table.
